For this week, we need to do some exercise on HTML codes. The first task given, was to practice making HTML coding. The sample of the coding and the picture of the HTML coding was given. We uses the heading element, paragraph element, special entity character and div element in the practice. This is the link of the website: Cool Things When you go to this site, you will be drawn in by the things it shown on the web page. All interesting stuff in one place. It has a very simple design but it manage to attract our attention to the site. So, why is this page appealing to us? This is because the rules of heuristics can be seen here. Which one of it is the visibility of the status system, where the system regularly kept the users informed about the site through appropriate comments within acceptable times. Other than that, is the match between system and the real world. The site convey the users' language, with words, phrases and concepts familiar to the user, rather than system-oriented terms. It follows the real-world conventions, making information appear in a natural and logical order. Lastly, aesthetic and minimalist design which conversation do not contain information which is irrelevant or rarely needed. Every extra unit of information in a dialogue competes

  Fix It Club this is the URL of the website. This web page design is very unappealing to us. One of the reason this site is unattractive is because it does not have the consistency and standards for a website. Other than that, there is no the visibility of the system status in this website. Lastly, the help and documentation that are provided is very hard to find. The page is quite unlikable, how to improve the website so that it will reach a certain standard of a design. First to get the consistency and standards, it must make sure that the users would not have to wonder whether different words, situations, or actions mean the same thing. Thus, follow platform conventions. Next, the system should always keep users informed about what is going on, through appropriate feedback within reasonable time. Lastly, it might be better if the system can be used without documentation, but it may be necessary to provide help and documentation at an appropriate places in the site. Any

We have learn some basic HTML codes in or previous semester in the course of Web Application. We did not use any special software to create the web page. We just used the 'Notepad' to write the coding. So in our second session of laboratory class Web Design course, we need to answer four simple questions about HTML codes. Well the questions are as followed: Write the markup language code to display your name in the largest-size heading element. Write the markup language code for unordered list to display the days of the week. Write the markup language code for an ordered list that uses uppercase letters to order the items. This ordered list will display the following: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Think of a favourite quote by someone you admire. The website that we taken interest of is the Youtube. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/ . The  History of YouTube  began on February 14, 2005 when three former  PayPal  employees activated the Internet domain name "YouTube.com" and started to create a  video-sharing  website on which users could upload, share, and view videos. (Reference from Wikipedia). The purpose of the site that we choose allow user to upload videos either for entertainment or knowledge. Besides that, other user can view it for free. We can also state our view about the videos. Furthermore, we can click like or dislike button for the videos that we viewed. There are many viewer that view this site. The intended audience depends on the user interest. For instance, a computer It student will browse videos about computer facts or tutorials for installing software. It is different for people who have leisure time, they will spend time browsing videos about the artist that they like or w

Our blog is free and can be viewed by anyone, anywhere, anyplace and at anytime. We are university students with a unique diverse thinking in mind (Just kidding! :P). We are only a average university students which are assign to do a blog throughout our semester (Yay!). Please be patient and read it calmly when you come across our blog (Thank you ;) ). We want to say that our blog is interesting because it can be design easily using the google email account. Furthermore, we can add many interesting gadget in our hearts desire. For example, inserting polls and slide show (you can see the example of gadget in our blog). When you first enter our blog, did you find that our design layout amusing? (right? ;P). We choose this design layout because it is simple, not messy and the fonts just suit our needs (but practically because it is free). Hopefully you all will enjoy the one semester blog.
