The Most Interesting Website


The website that we taken interest of is the Youtube. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/.
The History of YouTube began on February 14, 2005 when three former PayPal employees activated the Internet domain name "YouTube.com" and started to create a video-sharing website on which users could upload, share, and view videos. (Reference from Wikipedia).

The purpose of the site that we choose allow user to upload videos either for entertainment or knowledge. Besides that, other user can view it for free. We can also state our view about the videos. Furthermore, we can click like or dislike button for the videos that we viewed.

There are many viewer that view this site. The intended audience depends on the user interest. For instance, a computer It student will browse videos about computer facts or tutorials for installing software. It is different for people who have leisure time, they will spend time browsing videos about the artist that they like or watching drama especially Korean lover.

We strongly agree that the site reaches its intended audience. Why? This is because Youtube is a free streaming site which you can upload almost anything and can be viewed by anyone. So, every uploaded videos will always have their own viewers that suit their interests.

Is the site useful to us? Definitely, of course. ( Who doesn't love viewing Youtube, right? :P ). This is because we can learn almost anything about web design in youtube either by tutorials or by demonstration. Besides that, we can release our stress by viewing videos in Youtube.

The interesting part of Youtube, we can search for facts or issues that is related to gadgets that we love. For example, the new release of iphone 5s and iphone. (Link of video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGkDSzGtdew  )

We definitely recommended you all to view this site. As this site is so entertaining and informational for everyone. The best part of Youtube is you can view latest music video of famous artist for free such as Vevo. Furthermore, we can flag a video if the content is inappropriate to other viewers.

Improvement? Hmm, so far we think that this site is almost satisfied the user needs in any terms. We just suggest that the site will not block the videos which user uploaded  very easily. Furthermore, we suggest that youtube to change its design layout once in a while.

Basic HTML Coding

We have learn some basic HTML codes in or previous semester in the course of Web Application. We did not use any special software to create the web page. We just used the 'Notepad' to write the coding. So in our second session of laboratory class Web Design course, we need to answer four simple questions about HTML codes.
